I have been learning to write  a fractured fairy tale using what i  have learned about narrative Structures  and features.  My fractured fairy tale was based on the three little pigs.  i am most proud of  my pixle art because every one did a big one but i didn't rely.

My Reflection

I have been learning to solve problems by equal sharing.  I found this easy because i knew 5 10 15.  my next step is to learn my times tables and division facts off by heart.

W.A.L.T write a character description.  Using adjectives I fond this picture tricky to describe because I didn't  have that much words but I got it done.  I used my 5 senses to write 5 different sentences about my character.  My next step is to use a simile or metaphor.

Comparing Fairy Tales

I have been learning to identify common themes in fairy and fractured tales.  We read two narrative called Red riding and Into the Forest. " A common theme I made from these stories was they both had a red riding hood and a basket of food for grandma.  I found this hard because i didn't know this at first
my next step is to write my own fractured fairy tale.

My Refection

We have been learning to find and Summarise information by skimming and scamming.  Skimming and Scanning are fast reading techniques to help you find ideas or information quickly in a text.  We read a story about White Tailed spiders.  I used Skimming and Scaning to find information.  I found this easy because i never got stuck because the teacher helped me.  My next step is to try and work it out my self.

My Reflection

We have been learning about the structure and order of writing on explanation.  We had to put the piece of writing an explanation.  We had to put the piece of writing in the correct order.  I found this tricky because i just found it tricky putting them in order.  My next step is to write my own explanation writing.

Comparing Celebrations

We have been learning to compare and contrast different celebrations.  My group researched information about Eid. Something I found interesting was some photos .  Next we worked with another group and used a Venn diagram to compare our celebrations. Things that were the same were family.  My next step is to put more detail and information in the Venn diagram.

I have been learning to add detail to my writing.  We had to imagine we were a soldier or a family member and write about this picture I used punctuation to make my writing more interesting. My next step is to add more adjectives  to make my writing interesting.

Reflection I have been learning to understand how suffixes change the meaning of a word.  I found easy because we had a word and added ed or ing. my next step is to remember to put my words in the right place.
