Reading the minutes on an analogue clock

I have learnt to  tell the time . It was tricky because I nearly forgot to count  in 5s
I know now to count in 5s .  I need to work on remembering to count in 5s for the minutes.  I need to also work on telling the difference between the big hand and short hand.

Extending new vocabulary

I have been learning to extending my vocabulary.  It was tricky to use dictionary skills.  I need to work on finding clues in the book to help me make inferences about the meaning.

Structure of Procedural writing

Nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives.

I am learning to look for nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives.
It was tricky because I didn't know what a noun, verbs and adjectives were.
I need to work on remembering that nouns are a person place or a thing.

I am learning to write a  procedural  text which are  instructions.   It was tricky to remember punctuation.  It was also tricky to remember which idea came first and second.

I have learned to identify features of non-fiction texts and describe their purpose.
I found this hard because it was tricky to describe why we had the features. My next steps are to identify the features and describe their purpose without help from my teacher.

Counting on and back using the number line

I am learning to count on and back using the number line.  It was hard to find the right number on the number and write it in the right places.

Making connections

I am learning to make connections with the story and myself.  It was hard to remember what happened to myself when I got hurt.  I am also working on understanding what a connection is.  

My make believe land

I learned to edit my work. it was easy to write my ideas because I had lots of ideas.  It was hard to get all my full stops and capital letters in the right place.
