I am learning to write a narrative using DASH?.  I am most proud of my speech because more speech makes it more realistic and more like a real story.  My next step is to describe the character more in my story.

My Reflection

I am learning to write a six sentence narrative.  I am most proud of where the character lived.  My next learning step is to write another six sentence narrative about a different character.

Author´s Purpose

My Reflection
I am learning to identify and describe the author's purpose.  It was easy to figure out that the author was entertaining the reader because she wrote a fairytale and it had some funny parts.  I also read the text carefully. My next learning is to try to identify the author's purpose in other other types of texts.

  I am Learning To use a variety of sentences to make my writing more interesting.  I can now use a w at the start of a sentence using the 5 W's.  Next I can try to use short sentences.

I am most proud of my art because I looks amazing.  And this is the only art I actually did great on and I really want to do more of these.

I am Learning to find fractions of a set by equal sharing.  I am able to use repeated addition to solve these problems.  My next step is to use multiplication facts to solve these problems.

I am learning to understand information by interpreting graphic features.It was a little tricky because i had to read the text and the cross - section to find information.My next step is to look carefully at the graphic features in other texts. and It helps me to understand.

I am learning to extend my knowledge of new vocabulary.I can now Identify the meanings of new words.Next I will try to work out the meanings of new vocabulary by reading the rest of the sentence.

My Reflection

I am learning to summarise information by choosing the important information in the text.
This learning was tricky because I had to look up the meaning of the new words.
It was helpful having a buddy and the teacher to work with.
My next step is to summarise other texts with less help.

I am learning the parts of a graph.  It was tricky because it was new learning.  Watching the slide show helped me with this learning.  My next step would be to practise creating my own graphs.
