Making a plan
We need to have only one or a few words in our plan. The plan has to be about the topic. It needs 3 or more ideas. When we use the plan to do our writing, we need to write 2 or more sentences about each idea. The plan helps us to remember what happened. We need to start and end our writing with a sentence about the topic.
I feel proud of my writing because now I can spell many words correctly. I found it easy to make a plan because I only needed to write a few words in the plan.

Counting on from the bigger number
We are learning to count on from the bigger number. When we count on, we need to know the number that comes after. We look at the smaller number to know how many to count on. The + sign tells us that we are adding and counting on.
It is easy for me to count on from the bigger number.

Putting full stops in the right places
I am learning to put full stops in the right places. I know that I have to put full stops at the end of every idea. It is easy to put full stops in the right places.

Swimming fun
There was a swimming race. There were heaps of kids and families and
teachers. My favourite race was the dolphin dive.

Punctuation marks
Punctuation marks are everywhere. Full stops, speech marks, question marks and commas are punctuation marks. They ask us to do different things. Commas mean have a little rest. I find it tricky to find and notice punctuation marks.
